Garrett "G-Money" Holeve
Founder of Garrett's Fight and Head Coach! The heart and soul of our foundation G-Money. G-Money has been a pioneer in Adaptive sports and fitness since 2011. Beginning in 2013 he started coaching adaptive athletes in fitness, MMA and BJJ. G-Money holds coaching certifications from CrossRoads Adaptive Alliance and Special Olympics. Our fitness program is truly unique because of G-Money; athletes have a coach that they can identify with and can effectively communicate with them. Mitch Holeve, CPT Co - Founder Garrett Fight Foundation and father of Garrett Holeve together they started the foundation to promote Martial Arts & Physical Fitness to the Special needs community. Mitch has a passion for training adaptive athletes and is considered one of the pioneer coaches in adaptive fitness.
Mitch comes from a sports background growing up participating in Boxing and Football as a youth. Continuing football through college by earning a scholarship to Monmouth College. Mitch has been coaching ever since graduating the University of Florida in 1984.
Mitch has been coaching baseball, basketball, soccer, soccer, boxing, MMA and Strength and Conditioning for over 25 years. For the last 9 years Mitch has focused his attention on training adaptive athletes in Functional Fitness.

Garrett's Fight and Fighting for Autism have been working together since 2013 to bring fitness to the Autism Community.
Teaming up with such an organization allows us to stay abreast of the latest research and and therapies for individuals on the spectrum.

Stephan Bonnar - UFC Hall of Fame
Stephan is one of the original founders of Garrett's Fight. His leadership and encouragement paved the way for the foundation. Bonnar was the runner-up on The Ultimate Fighter 1. His TUF Ultimate Finale loss to Forrest Griffin is considered to be one of the most important fights in the history of the UFC. Bonnar was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2015. He graduated from Purdue University in 2000, earning a degree in Sports Medicine. |
Ricardo Lamas - UFC Fighter
A Featherweight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship organization. He trains with local powerhouse MMA Masters in Miami, Florida and Team Top Notch in Villa Park, Illinois. In December 2013, Lamas was awarded his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu under 2007 World Nogi Jiu Jitsu champion and owner of MMA Masters Daniel Valverde. He is #5 in the official UFC featherweight rankings. Lamas graduated with a degree in exercise science from Elmhurst College in 2005, where he was a member of the men's wrestling team and earned All-American honors at the NCAA Division III Men's Wrestling Championships at 157 lbs. During his collegiate wrestling career (2001–2005), he racked up over 100 wins. He was also a two-time CCIW Champion, and was named the CCIW's "Most Outstanding Wrestler" during the 2003-04 season. Lamas returned to Elmhurst after graduation to serve as the assistant men's wrestling coach. Lamas currently is opening a UFC gym in the Chicago area were he plans to continue to train and coach. |
Devin Clark - UFC Fighter
Devin and Garrett become friends in 2016, with Devin ultimately being one of Garrett's corner men for his Championship fight.Devin is currently competing in the light heavyweight division with Ultimate Fighting Championship. He started boxing when he was a kid and started competing wrestling in high school. He didn't have any real success in wrestling until his junior year, where in the State Finals match, he lost to former UFC athlete David Michaud. The following year, Devin's senior year , he would go on to be the South Dakota State Champion at 189 lbs. Clark would then go on to College at Rochester Tech and capture the Junior College National Championship in 2009 at 184 lbs and then in 2010 losing in the semi finals to Josh Marsh. Not ready to end competing Clark began training in MMA and competing at a local level where he started MMA training at his local gym, Team Nak Suk, and later moved to Next Edge Academy under the tutelage of BJJ black-belt Bruce Hoyer quickly moving up and competing in the RFA, or otherwise known as Reliance Fightin was high school state wrestling champion, Junior College National wrestling champion and was an amateur boxer. |
